Coach Bunmi Haruna is a respected CAF instructor and a prominent figure in Nigerian football development with a CAF-B coaching license.

He served as a two-time assistant coach and scout for Nigeria’s National U17 team, the Golden Eaglets, working under experienced coaches like Manu Garba, Emmanuel Amunike, and Nduka Ugbade.

He has also worked with FC Barcelona’s Lagos academy as a scout.

In February 2025, he led FWC FC to a historic victory in the FCT Federation Cup, securing their place in the National President Cup.

In 2024, he led Blue Ocean FC to international youth tournaments like the Iber Cup in Portugal and the Dana Cup in Denmark, where they achieved a semi-final finish in the U19 competition.

Haruna is a multiple WAFU-B U17 title winner, AFCON Bronze medalist, and has World Cup coaching experience from the FIFA U17 World Cup, Brazil 2019.
